Cirque Du Soleil - Corteo

Over the weekend I went up to Columbus, Ohio, to see the new Cirque Du Soleil show called Corteo. This was my first Cirque event but those I was with (my wife Michelle, her friend Tammy, and my hetero lifemate Don) have all seen at least one before. I mention this only because it’s easy to be wow’d by something the first time you see it so I wanted to make sure that you understood that my friends had all seen a Cirque show before. That said, we all thought it was amazing! The acrobatics, the visuals, the comedy, the feats of strength… all of it was unlike anything I’d seen before. The other amazing part was that we had front row seats for the show so everything was happening right in front of your face… sometimes only inches away. Plus the performers actually interacted with us at times which added to the illusion of the whole event. Overall, it was something that I recommend you definitely check out should it come to a city near you!
Edit: My wife found this video on YouTube that someone took of our favorite part of the show: A dwarf woman attached to helium balloons and tossed into the crowd for them to pass around! It was amazing and funny… check it out!
