I hope everyone had a safe and happy New Year’s celebration yesterday/today! The wife and I stayed in this year mainly because the party we were supposed to attend was cancelled at the last minute (flu attack at the house apparently… whole family sick) and we had nothing else we could do on such short notice. I suppose we could have gone down to our favorite bar and just hung out while we had a few drinks but we decided to stay in a watch movies instead. Speaking of that, my review of The Wicker Man will be posted tomorrow. We also watched The Descent but I’d seen it before in the theater so I won’t bother with a now “old” review (other than to say this is a “must see” movie for you horror/suspense fans out there). Anyway, hope everyone had a good long weekend but alas tomorrow is another work day! Till tomorrow…
