Yesterday I was notified by the folks over at ReviewMe that I will now be able to write sponsored reviews for their customers! I’ve already got a few review offers on the table and will be posting my first one up very soon. I’ve really been looking forward to this since paid reviews from ReviewMe can be VERY lucrative. For instance, John Chow posted up his blog revenues for April 2007 recently and he made over $4,500 from ReviewMe reviews alone! Now granted, John’s blog is WAY bigger than mine and he commands a much higher price per review, but the point is that I can finally start to make some money off this blog if I play my cards right and get a good rep for doing quality reviews. Since I’ve always had a knack for writing and I think I can be pretty objective when doing reviews, I feel confident that I’ll soon have more and more review requests coming. Also, I want to make it clear that I will always state up front when a post is a paid review. Some reviewers don’t do this but I feel it’s only fair to make sure my readers know when a posting is basically a paid advertisement. That said, keep an eye out tomorrow for my first review and wish me luck!
