I’ve lost 19 lbs!

ScaleBack on January 29th I made my first “diet update” post which showed me weighing in at 190.4 lbs and 23% body fat. As of today I’m sitting at 171.4 lbs and 18% body fat… which means I’ve lost 19 lbs! Granted I’ve had some bad weeks here and there where I lost little to nothing due to slips in proper eating and/or lack of cardio, but over the last five and a half months I’ve managed to slowly work my way towards my goal of 160 lbs and 15% body fat. I’ve recently stepped up my running program more and I’ve invested in some protein powder to use as meal replacements in an effort to cut carbs and lean out a bit more. Once I hit my goal I intend to try and put more weight back on in the form of muscle while still reducing my body fat down to 10-12% by replacing three nights of running with three nights of hitting the weights. I’ll also be stepping up the supplements at that point to spur more muscle growth but I’ll go into more on that when the time comes.
