My Vista has arrived… and an MS event tonight!

I just checked my tracking numbers and it would appear that my copy of Vista Ultimate (along with my other upgrades) is sitting on my front porch right now awaiting my arrival home! Unfortunately I won’t have the time tonight to work with any of it as I’ll be attending the Microsoft/Fox Sports Ultimate Windows Vista Celebration at Best Buy down in Florence, KY. I figure any event that gets me a free flash drive, some free food, and a chance to win some kick-ass prizes is well worth my time. Besides, Fox Sports is bringing in Anthony Munoz to sign autographs and pose for pictures. I doubt I’ll take the time to get a picture with him but if I do I’ll be sure post it up here tomorrow.

On a side note, this also means I won’t have time for any cardio tonight where my diet is concerned but I did have a small but healthy breakfast and lunch and I’m sure the wings I’ll have tonight for dinner won’t be that bad for me. And before you ask why I’m having wings when I’m on a diet it’s pretty simple: my wife and I have been doing a “wing night” once a week for years now and it’s just something that I’m not willing to give up for my diet. I will however be sure to eat less than I normally would since I’ll probably be eating something at the aforementioned party tonight. Look for another weight update after I get home later tonight.
