No Vista this weekend… ugh!

It appears my order from NewEgg.com is taking longer to arrive than I anticipated and will NOT be here by today afterall. Unfortunately this means I’ll have to put off my Vista upgrade until next week. I am NOT happy about this at all! I know this may sound incredibly geeky (and it is… I know this), but I was really looking forward to spending a few hours this weekend working on the new system setup. There’s just something about installing new hardware and upgrading to a new OS that’s exciting for people like me. Don’t get me wrong… I still had other plans for this weekend that will be fun like bowling, drinking with some of my wife’s friends at a bar in Dayton, and playing video games… but I just feel like I lost a little of my weekend enjoyment now due to this shipping fiasco. I hate FedEx.
