Weekly diet update – Week 6 of 6

ScaleObviously this is post is little late but since I was out of town in San Diego during the actual Monday after week six I guess this will have to do. At the end of Week six I was a sad 190.6 lbs. at 23.5% body fat! Given that my goal was to be at 175 lbs. by this time, I’m very disappointed… but not surprised. I’ve always had a problem sticking with diets and my hope was making this one public would spur me on to keeping it up longer. Obviously that didn’t work. Now my goal is to just eat less and do some running every night for a while until I build up some stamina to run a couple miles a night. Once I get to that point, I plan to give the SimpleFit diet and exercise plan a try. SimpleFit is a dumbed down version of the CrossFit program that’s geared towards people looking for a more advanced workout program. While I’d love to get into CrossFit at some point, I think I’ll stick with the SimpleFit program for now since it is “simple” per se. Either way, I’ll continue to post my daily weigh-in’s and fat percentages going forward since that does give me a certain amount of history I can look back on as time goes by. I won’t however be posting up any further weekly updates such as this but that doesn’t mean I won’t drop a quick note here and there to say how things are going so make sure you check back on occasion to see how good (or bad) I’m doing.
