I went to see X-Men 3 over the Memorial Day weekend and I’m very glad I did! I say for this for two reasons: it was a great movie AND I now have no worries that the spoiler clip after the credits will be ruined for me. For those of you who don’t know by the way, there’s a short clip after the movie’s credits are done which gives a spoiler for the next film. I won’t ruin it for you by telling you what it is but I HIGHLY recommend that you stay and watch it. Now, on with the reveiw:
In my previously posted review of Mission Impossible 3, I stated that my friend proclaimed it to be the “best movie of the year” and that I highly doubted that would be the case given all the other outstanding movies coming down the pike. I can proudly say that I was right since I felt that X3 kicked MI3’s ass all over the place! This was a great movie! Plenty of action, great plot/story, great acting, true to the comic essence behind the characters… I could go on and on. I think this installment of the X-Men series is the best to date and can’t wait for the next one (or for the Wolverine movies for that matter). I can’t really go into much detail as I don’t want to spoil anything for those of you who haven’t seen it but I can tell you this much: GO SEE THIS MOVIE!
